A student can earn credit for any of the projects listed on this website through North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center Natural Resources (contact Dan Lieberman, 360-565-1892, dlieberman@portangelesschools.org). 

Project Logistics - Quileute

Number of Students: Crew of 1 - 9 students
Schedule: Work on Wednesdays after school (field days on payday Wednesdays).
Project Options - Quileute
Treaty Rights and Resource Protection (partnership with Quileute Tribal School)
Participate in natural resource monitoring efforts on creeks and lands in Quileute Tribes usual and accustomed lands. Learn about, participate in and analyze past, present and future monitoring efforts. Protect habitat so that cultural and natural resources in the are can be sustainable.

Work with Frank Geyer and other Quileute Natural Resources (QNR) staff members, representatives from Quileute Tribal School and Mr. Lieberman of Skills Center Natural Resources.
